Description

• The business controller is part of a multidisciplinary team whose duties include underwriting, reinsurance administration, credit control, accounts receivable management, budgeting and cost tracking. The range of tasks is very diverse and consists of both operational and analytical tasks.
• You are part of a small organization that is constantly evolving and where priorities can change quickly in function of market opportunities.
• We are therefore looking for a person who is eager to learn, takes responsibility, analytically strong enough and pragmatic at the same time. Given the nature of the company, we are looking for someone who is flexible and thinks along with continuous improvements.

Your profile

• Preferably you have experience in insurance. If you do not have experience, you should be willing to familiarize yourself with the subject matter.
• Your degree will not be decisive, but a master's degree in commercial sciences or graduate degree in insurance would be a good basis to start in this job.
• You can communicate fluently both internally and externally. You have an advanced knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is certainly an added value.
• With your analytical mind you like to work with figures. You dig out problems and differences with an eye for detail to come to a solution.
• You are administratively strong and have a thorough knowledge of Excel.
• You carry out processes efficiently and also work to improve existing processes.
• You take responsibility.
• You can work well together in a team. You step up to others to seek information.
• You can handle change and see challenges as opportunities to learn.

Offer

• Monthly salary indication: € 2501 - € 3500
• An exciting job in which you will help build a growing, internationally oriented insurance company active in the lucrative niche of run-off management.
• An attractive remuneration package and extensive opportunity to telecommute. You are expected 2 to 3 days a week in the offices located in Antwerp where you can count on a beautiful view of the MAS and the marina.
