Are you looking for a challenging role in which you play a crucial role in handling claims files for our valued clients? As claims manager, you are the key figure in the process, responsible for analyzing, negotiating and resolving various types of claims. You are the reference person for customers, the face of the company in case of problems and complaints.

Description

As a claims manager, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure that your clients' claims files are handled in the best possible way:
  • Optimal Handling of Claims Files: You are the one who ensures that your customers' claims files are handled in the best possible way. You are their reference person in case of problems and complaints.
  • Thorough Analysis of Claims: You analyze each claim thoroughly to understand the situation and find the best solution.
  • Negotiation with Different Parties: You negotiate with clients, counterparties, insurers, experts and lawyers to reach a satisfactory solution for all parties involved.
  • Full File Handling: You handle each file from A to Z. This includes opening the file, follow-up, payment, to closing and filing the file.
  • Agenda Management and Correspondence: In addition to file handling, you will also take to heart the handling of agenda and correspondence to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in insurance, economics or law or equivalent through experience
  • You have a first experience of 3 years in a claims department
  • You speak Dutch fluently and have a good knowledge of French and English
  • You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office (mainly Word and Excel)
  • You are always customer oriented and you are a team player who can also work independently
  • You are organized and good at setting priorities
