As an Experienced Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing and handling claims files from start to finish. These files mainly include property and general liability claims, but you may also deal with other types of claims. You work mainly on claims from international clients or their insurers. You will also be responsible for your team. You will guide them where necessary and assist them in difficult/complex cases.

Description

  • As soon as a customer submits a claim, you appoint a Claims Expert who carries out an assessment.
  • You also collect all the necessary documents, including the loss adjuster's report, to then analyze what caused a loss and who caused it
  • Furthermore, you maintain contact with the client, the insurers and the other parties, whereby you discuss the results of the survey and the further steps to be taken. You represent the interests of the client and seek customer-oriented solutions in order to reach a suitable solution.
  • As team leader you are responsible for managing your team, motivating, coaching, organizing and planning.

Your profile

  • You are an experienced claims manager (non-life insurance)
  • You are ready to take the step to a people management position or you already have a first experience in this field
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English
  • You have a structured approach and follow-up
  • You can work independently as well as in a team
  • You are responsible, communicative and strongly customer-oriented
  • You have a good command of Dutch and French. English language skills are a plus
