Our client, active in the credit insurance sector in Namur, is looking for a Financial Analyst to strengthen the finance department. To work for our customer is to work in a humane company, which attaches great importance to the well-being of its employees.
Description
- You take part in monthly closings according to IFRS and Local GAAP (Belgium, France, Luxembourg).
- You analyze results on a monthly basis to identify variances.
- You are the point of contact for audit requests or questions from the tax authorities.
- You contribute to the preparation of tax, legal and VAT reports.
- You follow accounting, tax and VAT news in order to identify any changes or opportunities.
- You collaborate on various projects within the department to improve processes.
- You support business units by proposing appropriate financial solutions.
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in management, finance or commercial engineering
- You have an interest in accounting, tax and VAT matters
- You have a good knowledge of English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Ideally, you will have some initial experience in a similar role, in controlling or in an audit firm
- You're a self-starter, but you're also a team player.
- You are proactive and have good organizational skills.
- You have analytical and critical thinking skills.
- You're flexible and highly resistant to stress
- You have a good command of the MS Office suite (in-depth knowledge of Excel required).
