Our client is seeking an experienced credit analyst in Antwerp to perform credit worthiness reviews and communicate clearly with all parties involved. Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the banking industry, and a good command of both Dutch and French.
Description
- You independently and thoroughly carry out a creditworthiness investigation for all applications (private individuals, self-employed and companies) and for this purpose you request the necessary information from customers, vendors, accountants and other involved parties
- With a keen eye for detail, you analyze and interpret collected data, including annual accounts, in order to formulate objective and responsible credit proposals
- You are the connecting link between all parties involved, both internally and externally, and ensure clear and professional communication. This both by mail and by phone in Dutch and French
- As a member of the credit committee, you decide on the files submitted by the credit examiners and other credit analysts. This can be done independently or in consultation with the other members of the credit committee.
- Depending on your own interest, there are always opportunities to take on other responsibilities.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in economics with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the banking or lending sector. Experience with credit investigation for individuals and/or companies is a plus.
- You derive satisfaction from working thoroughly and problem-solving. This also for files with a high degree of complexity, in order to work out the most appropriate solution for and with each customer.
- You are a team player who wants to achieve goals together with colleagues, but you can also work independently

- You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and are able to communicate orally and in writing well with French-speaking partners.
