Do you have a first working experience within Compliance and do you wish to be part of an enthusiastic compliance team within a growing private bank ? The Compliance Department deals with the risks related to integrity, duty of care and data protection from a second-line position. The team is in close contact with all layers of the organization both in Belgium and in the Netherlands, directly but also through various committees.
Description
- Within Compliance, you are mainly active in the financial crime area where, from a 2° line role, you are responsible together with the AMLCO for monitoring compliance with our client's anti-money laundering policy. You give advice on the acceptance of new clients and assess atypical transactions
- You provide advice on other compliance risks, such as client care (MiFID) and data protection (GDPR)
- You help to further optimize compliance risk management, identifying new and changed risks and reporting on them
- You participate in various compliance-related projects and initiatives
- In addition, you ensure that colleagues within the bank are sufficiently alert to and familiar with the risks by creating and providing (digital) training and education.
Your profile
- You have a degree in law, criminology, risk management or other similar education
- You have at least your first relevant work experience as a compliance officer with a focus on financial crime
- You have a good understanding of financial and investment products and the functioning of primary and secondary financial markets
- You have an analytical ability to make informed conclusions based on complex partial information
- The ability to express yourself well orally and in writing in Dutch, French and English
- You work well together, have good communication skills and organizational sensitivity
- You are flexible in your work schedule and you can manage your own agenda well.
