Description

  • As an Underwriter, you’ll be responsible for assessing and evaluating technical risks associated with insurance policies. This involves proposing suitable terms and conditions to clients, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring the execution of these contracts.
  • You’ll collaborate with brokers and clients to tailor insurance solutions that align with their specific needs and risk profiles.
  • Specifically, you’ll focus on “All Risks Construction Sites,” actively working to create effective insurance products that cover construction-related risks comprehensively.
  • You’ll ensure that policies adhere to technical guidelines, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Your profile

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree is acceptable. Fields of study can vary, including technical disciplines like engineering or architectural studies, as well as business-related fields like economics, law, insurance.
  • Relevant work experience is essential, ideally ranging from 3 to 5 years: Candidates should have a background in underwriting or property and casualty policy management.
  • Experience with corporate clients is particularly important.
  • Fluency in Dutch is a must. Additionally, proficiency in French is required. English proficiency is beneficial, especially for internal training purposes.
