As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of claims files, ensuring that policyholders/third parties are compensated promptly and that adequate technical reserves are established. You will also be responsible for opening claims files, analyzing claims declarations, making compensation decisions and closing files.
To succeed in this position, you will need a degree in Law, Finance/Insurance or equivalent, as well as an excellent knowledge of French. You will also need to demonstrate excellent skills in analysis, synthesis, precision, customer orientation, communication and persuasion.

Description
- Manage and follow up claims files on a daily basis, taking into account the procedures specific to the insurance company, in order to compensate the insured/third party quickly and build up adequate technical reserves while respecting quality, service and deadlines;
- When a claim file is opened, to gather information concerning the coverage, liability(ies) and circumstances involved in the claim, to analyze the claim declaration, to accept or reject the claim, to appoint an expert if necessary in order to process the file taking into account the scope of the policy's guarantees and to set aside adequate reserves in accordance with the rules in force;
- Decide on the compensation of the party concerned, taking into account the general and special conditions, the judgment, the agreements, the inspection reports and the instructions of the management regarding deadlines, in order to offer a quality service to the parties concerned;
- Compensate the party concerned so as to close the file quickly and efficiently, and pay the fees of external parties in accordance with current agreements and conventions between insurance companies;
- Monitor the claims file to ensure it is closed within the deadlines set by management, legislation and agreements;
- Coordinate communication with all parties concerned (internal and external) to ensure an efficient exchange of information concerning a given claims file;
- Reports to the Claims Manager.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law Practice, Law, Finance/Insurance OR Master's degree in Law;
- A very good knowledge of French is required;
- Excellence in analysis, synthesis, precision, customer orientation, communication and persuasion.
