International P&C Claims Handler

Description

• Analyze coverage, liability and indemnification taking into account international conventions and local legislation;
• Take a position, communicate about the handling of the claim and give reasons for decisions to each party involved (clients, brokers, opposing parties, etc.);
• Communicating with internal contacts (adjusters, inspectors, etc.) during the various stages of file management so that the claim is settled quickly and under the best possible conditions;
• Present or take decisions to improve the file;
• Ensure the technical and administrative management of the file;

Your profile

• You have a Master's degree in Law
• You are fluent in German, French and Dutch and have a good knowledge of English
• You have a first experience in claims handling and/or a good knowledge of non-life insurance
• You have a good sense of organisation
• You are a real Team Player, customer oriented, you like to take initiatives and you are assertive
• You have good oral and written communication skills
• You are empathetic and have good listening skills
• You are able to adapt to change and feel comfortable in a fast-moving environment
