Our client seeks an experienced tax advisor to assist its clients (SMEs and large corporations) with comprehensive income and payroll tax advice, including performing tax audits and completing tax returns. You will enrich your advice with practical examples, using your mastery of legal rules and current industry practices, while staying abreast of new legislative measures. If you have a master's degree in law, three years of experience in tax law, skills in social law, and a talent for identifying business opportunities, apply to join our dynamic and results-oriented team, with bi-weekly meetings in Brussels.
Description
- You will advise clients on all aspects of payroll and income tax.
- You assist clients in performing tax audits and completing their income tax returns (including NIBs).
- You listen carefully to the client and think from the specific wishes and needs of our clients (both SMEs and large enterprises).
- You identify business opportunities and act accordingly.
- You are constantly aware of new measures in the field of social and fiscal legislation.
- You know not only the legal regulations, but also the current practices in the various sectors. This allows you to enrich your advice with very practical examples and solutions, providing real added value for your clients.
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in Law and proven experience of +-3 years in tax law (payroll tax, income tax, international employment).
- Knowledge of social law/social security law is a plus; especially in advising on international employment.
- Knowledge of statute BBIB/BBIO, the corresponding calculation methods and performing these calculations are also a plus.
- Experience with salary optimization and filing income tax returns are an asset.
- You are an active listener, assertive and have a nose for opportunities.
- You have a sense of organization and you work independently in an accurate, discreet and efficient manner.
- You are an enthusiastic, inquisitive and stress-resistant team player with excellent communication skills (in Dutch and/or French).
- Result-oriented, you make sure to achieve the clearly defined objectives (those of your client, but also those of the team).
- You are registered with the Institute of Tax Advisers and Accountants (ITAA).
- You work from an office of your choice and you are willing to travel to Brussels twice a month for team meetings.
