Description
As a claims handler, your role is crucial in ensuring optimal resolution of automotive insurance claims for clients. You serve as the primary point of contact in case of issues or disputes. Your responsibilities include:- Thoroughly reviewing and analyzing insurance claims.
- Negotiating with clients, opposing parties, insurers, experts, and attorneys.
- Crafting effective solutions within tight timeframes.
- Handling every aspect of a claim, from opening the case to follow-up, payment, closure, and filing.
- Managing agendas and correspondence related to claims.
- Collaborating with colleagues to interpret and analyze claims statistics.
Your profile
To excel in this role, consider the following qualifications:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in insurance, economics, or law.
- Demonstrated convincing and relevant experience of at least 3 years in claims management.
- Fluent in Dutch and French with good knowledge of English.
- Team-oriented and service-focused.
- Organized with excellent prioritization skills.
