We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compliance Officer to join our client's. Our client is offering you a 3/5 part-time contract. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in identifying and managing compliance risks within the company. With your excellent communication and organizational skills, you will act as the compliance advisor to the Management Committee and the Board of Directors. Description

  • You will identify and assess compliance risk within the company and propose measures to manage it
  • You monitor compliance with the rules of conduct (MiFID),
  • You draw up the annual Compliance action plan
  • You implement the policy to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. You will draw up the overall AML risk assessment and ensure that the company has taken the necessary measures to combat money laundering effectively,
  • You will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control measures,
  • You ensure compliance with the integrity policy. You monitor compliance with the company's values,
  • You analyze customer files from a compliance perspective,
  • You check that the services and products provided to customers are appropriate and adequate,
  • You report regularly to the Management Committee,
  • You will act as a compliance advisor to the Management Committee and the Board of Directors,
  • You will prepare reports for submission to the supervisory authorities (NBB, FSMA),
  • You will monitor changes in legislation and its interpretation,
  • You are the point of contact with the authorities and external parties (NBB, FSMA, internal/external auditors, lawyers),
  • You raise staff awareness and organize compliance training,
  • You will validate marketing communications from a compliance point of view,
  • You will draw up and update internal procedures and ensure that employees comply with them,
  • You will be responsible for compliance with personal data protection legislation (GDPR),
  • You will participate in new projects in order to provide an analysis from a compliance perspective,

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree in law or economics,
  • You are a Certified compliance officer,
  • You have a fluent knowledge of French and Dutch and a good knowledge of English
  • You are occasionally prepared to work in Luxembourg
  • You have very good communication skills
  • Ability to understand both the context and the specifics of problem-solving situations
  • You have good organisational and time management skills,
  • You are able to prioritise multiple tasks with short and long-term response requirements
  • You have excellent attention to detail and precision
  • You are a team player
  • You have a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
  • You are proactive, flexible, dedicated and autonomous
  • You know how to manage stress
