Description
Financial Leadership & Reporting Specialist :- Serve as the primary substitute for the Head of Finance, stepping in as needed.
- Own the monthly accounting close process, guaranteeing the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of consolidated reports at the group level.
- Prepare and present comprehensive year-end financial statements, ensuring alignment with local regulations and IFRS standards (IFRS 16).
- Lead the preparation and assessment of management reports, including KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
- Ensure adherence to VAT filings, tax returns, and manage the compilation of audit documentation for external auditors.
- Drive the budgeting process by coordinating planning inputs and conducting variance analyses with key stakeholders.
- Review financial performance, interpret key trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the evaluation and enhancement of accounting and finance processes, such as closing, invoicing, banking, and budget monitoring.
- Support the digitization of finance functions, including the implementation of tools such as ERP systems and automation for manual journal entries.
- Contribute to the reinforcement of internal controls and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate closely with accounting, tax, business, and operations teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Supervise junior team members when applicable and provide support for their professional development.
