Description
- You manage and guide your team, offering advice and support with daily responsibilities and providing training when necessary;
- You prioritize the weekly tasks of the team to ensure effective workflow;
- You identify opportunities for enhancing service quality in areas such as mail handling, telephone interactions, and complaints management;
- You instill a customer-centric mindset within the team by recognizing the needs and expectations of clients and brokers, adapting services accordingly;
- You ensure team performance and productivity by translating departmental goals into clear, actionable objectives;
- You support employee development through regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations, collaborating with your manager in these efforts;
- You lead informational or project-focused meetings to foster communication and collaboration;
- You create a positive and stimulating environment that encourages team members to thrive and develop their skills further;
- You collaborate with the Life Retail Manager to establish the team's strategic direction;
- You oversee the department’s allocated budget, ensuring effective management of resources.
- You analyze potential customer complaints and suggest appropriate solutions to address concerns.
Your profile
- Holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in the fields of insurance or economics;
- Is a seasoned professional in life insurance, possessing comprehensive insights into the industry's operations;
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience working within the life insurance domain;
- Exhibits strong leadership abilities, fostering trust among team members and driving results through a collaborative and performance-focused atmosphere;
- Is proficient in Dutch or French, with strong competency in the other official language;
- Demonstrates proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Has knowledge of lean management principles, which would be considered a plus;
- Is detail-oriented, Organized, and skilled in managing priorities while adhering to tight deadlines;
- Possesses robust communication skills, effectively managing both internal and external stakeholders;
- Adopts a participative leadership approach, demonstrating the ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment;
- Is energetic, optimistic, and open to embracing new ideas and concepts.
