Description
- You review and evaluate onboarding documentation for medium- and high-risk clients, ensuring legal papers, UBO structures, and business operations are thoroughly examined;
- You prepare validation files for internal committee evaluations while ensuring adherence to AML and KYC regulations;
- You investigate alerts from transaction monitoring systems, collect necessary evidence, and escalate any suspicious cases to the Compliance team;
- You carry out KYC remediation and client recertification tasks, which involve reassessing risk levels and following up on documentation;
- You contribute to reporting initiatives and assist in enhancing processes by implementing standardized templates and controls.
Your profile
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree or possesses equivalent experience;
- Demonstrates fluency in French and Dutch, with strong proficiency in English;
- Has approximately 1-2 years of experience in KYC/AML, ideally within financial institutions, fintechs, or professional service firms, with a background in onboarding or transaction monitoring;
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies in documentation;
- Is capable of working independently and can quickly acclimate to internal procedures;
- Thrives in a collaborative environment, working effectively with internal analysts and compliance teams;
- Is proficient in written English, as documentation is frequently conducted in this language.
