Description
- You analyze liability claims from companies with more than 50 employees and government projects;
- You assess risks at both the technical and commercial levels, in accordance with the applicable underwriting criteria;
- You prepare and validate quotes, with customized rates and text that address both the client’s needs and profitability;
- You negotiate quotes with brokers, clients, or risk managers, with the goal of reaching the best solution;
- You initiate portfolio management actions, strive to increase profitability, and protect your contracts;
- You maintain personal contact with brokers and clients through regular visits, during which you provide advice and updates on ongoing cases;
- You actively participate in internal and external networks and represent the organization to advocate for its interests and build a strong brand reputation.
Your profile
- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in law;
- Has several years of relevant work experience as an underwriter, preferably in the Liability or Financial Products sector;
- Is fluent in Dutch and has a good basic knowledge of French;
- Holds a valid driver’s license;
- Has a strong curiosity and a passion for Liability, combined with the ambition to learn and develop further (a comprehensive mentoring program is offered);
- Possesses technical and commercial skills: analytical ability, the ability to synthesize information, negotiation skills, and a strong commercial acumen support your decision-making;
- Strives for excellent customer service and acts as the first point of contact for both team members and customers;
- Is comfortable working with numbers but always remains focused on the needs and opportunities of customers;
- Demonstrates independence and a sense of responsibility but also enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team;
- Is open to innovative ideas, thinks critically, and adapts easily to a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
