Description
- You contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s Risk & Compliance strategy;
- You carry out daily compliance checks and processes, which encompass client onboarding, managing conflicts of interest, KYC/AML procedures, DAC6 compliance, market abuse regulations, GDPR adherence, and monitoring international sanctions;
- You analyze potential risks systematically and assist in formulating suitable mitigation strategies;
- You prepare and present structured reports regarding compliance issues to relevant stakeholders;
- You serve as a senior resource within the team, offering guidance and overseeing team activities;
- You assist in implementing a compliance and client onboarding tool while evaluating internal workflows and controls to align with the latest legal and regulatory requirements;
- You provide training and raise awareness through various initiatives;
- You work closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure the consistent and efficient implementation of the organization’s compliance framework.
Your profile
- Possesses a Master's degree in Law;
- Is fluent in Dutch, French, and English;
- Has pertinent experience in a compliance or legal setting, with a solid understanding of AML/KYC considered a significant advantage;
- Exhibits a process-oriented mindset, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and the capability to enhance and organize workflows effectively;
- Balances a practical approach with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility;
- Displays exceptional analytical and organizational abilities;
- Communicates excellently and manages stakeholder relationships adeptly, allowing for confident interactions with legal professionals and business associates;
- Maintains a proactive and solution-focused attitude;
- Is knowledgeable about the deployment of compliance and client onboarding tools, such as Intapp or equivalent systems.
