Description

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the financial records for our client, ensuring both compliance and informative management reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting functions, requiring precision and collaboration.
  • *Responsibilities:**
  • You maintain precise accounting records for statutory and management reporting purposes, which includes, but is not limited to, recording bank statements and performing reconciliations.
  • You process invoices for payment in a detailed manner to ensure adherence to budgetary codes while maintaining supporting schedules.
  • You record and reconcile monthly salary journals accurately, as well as handle any necessary accrual and prepayment entries.
  • You prepare annual financial accounts and the accompanying documentation.
  • You generate monthly reports detailing profit and loss on an accrual basis.
  • You provide monthly cash and liquidity forecasts to support financial planning.
  • You coordinate with the tax advisor and the tax team to ensure timely filing of both monthly and annual VAT returns.
  • You work in partnership with treasury and corporate teams to facilitate the integration and transfer of new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entities.
  • You compile monthly and quarterly reports for new vendor performance.
  • You prepare finance updates for presentation at the quarterly board meetings.
  • You collaborate with departmental heads and the head of the office to create the upcoming year’s budget.
  • You draft service, rental, and share transfer invoices while managing follow-ups for debt recovery.
  • You gather and analyze monthly and annual finance key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • You engage in special projects as needed, actively seeking opportunities to enhance existing processes and deliverables.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment.
  • Proficient understanding of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks specific to Luxembourg.
  • Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in French considered an advantage but not essential.
  • Capable of managing sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to operate independently while fostering effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Strong organizational abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, whether internally or in client-facing scenarios.
