Description
- You’ll start your traineeship in September, during which you’ll learn the fundamentals of Life & Non-Life insurance, along with sales skills and how the sales department operates.
- You will then work in the Life Insurance back office, where, after a short training program, you will handle customer and broker inquiries and follow up on commercial cases.
- After that, you’ll complete a few months of internship with a broker, where you’ll attend client meetings, make commercial preparations, and gain insight into their daily work.
- Throughout the entire program, you’ll actively participate in the commercial activities of Account Managers, allowing you to get an up-close look at the role.
- After successfully completing the traineeship, you will start managing your own portfolio and begin working as a Life or Non-Life Account Manager.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds a master’s degree and is ready to hit the ground running, or has a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in sales, insurance, or financial services.
- Learns quickly and has a strong affinity for numbers, working in a flexible and analytical manner.
- Is a self-starter: proactive, enterprising, and takes the initiative.
- Possesses excellent social skills: active listening, empathy, diplomacy, and negotiation skills.
- Has a commercial mindset and strategic insight, and is fluent in French as well as Dutch.
