Description
- You accurately calculate and monitor technical provisions.
- You validate the methodologies and assumptions used.
- You carefully analyze underwriting and claims experience.
- You prepare technical results and present them clearly.
- You perform in-depth analyses, such as bonus-malus analyses.
- You will work closely with the Pricing, Solvency II, and IFRS 17 teams.
- You will identify and implement process improvements where necessary.
- You will serve in an advisory role within the team, acting as a senior sounding board.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- has at least 6 years of experience in actuarial work
- has extensive experience in closing processes and reporting
- has knowledge of an IFRS 4-like environment (knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus but not a requirement)
- is highly proficient in Excel (a requirement) and has experience with Access
- has programming skills in languages such as Python, SAS, or VBA
- has a thorough understanding of the insurance sector
- is capable of operating within complex processes and governance structures
- can work independently from day one
- has a senior profile capable of quickly assuming responsibilities in daily operations without supervision
- is both substantively strong and pragmatic in execution
- is not afraid to challenge processes and initiate improvements
- is experienced in managing stakeholder relationships within a structured business environment
- is fluent in French (essential) and has an excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not a requirement.
