Description

  • Join the KYC unit as a dedicated team member, managing responsibilities related to the onboarding and review of client and relationship files ;
  • Engage in the daily functions of the KYC team, including onboarding and reviewing client files, screening for blacklists and sanctions lists, and addressing various related tasks.;
  • Contribute to the development of reports, statistics, and other documentation required by the Head of Luxembourg Compliance, the European Chief Compliance Officer, authorized management, oversight teams, relevant regulatory authorities, and the central office of the organization ;
  • Offer essential support and training to staff, assisting business departments while staying updated on the latest regulatory changes that could affect the organization, particularly concerning KYC principles, AML/CTF, and sanctions compliance ;
  • Support the Senior KYC Officer, the Head of Luxembourg Compliance, and the European Chief Compliance Officer in fulfilling their responsibilities for the KYC Unit at the Luxembourg location ;
  • Aid in supervising the branches of ICBC (Europe) S.A. as part of the European rollout of KYC policies from the wider organization ;
  • Participate in control missions across the Bank's activities, creating relevant reports as needed ;
  • Collect, verify, and analyze information and statistics to respond effectively to reporting requests from the Head Office, the Board of Directors, the Audit & Compliance Committee, internal and external auditors, authorized management, and supervisory authorities ;
  • Prepare documentation for the Client and Relationship Acceptance Committee, facilitate the sharing of support documentation, and compile minutes from meetings ;

Your profile

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Law from a recognized university ;
  • Fluency in English ;
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position, preferably within an international banking institution focused on compliance or auditing functions ;
  • Solid understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) regulations applicable in Europe and Luxembourg ;
  • Ability to analyze transaction patterns and assess the AML profiles of customers effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ;
  • Capability in producing accurate and comprehensive reports ;
  • Strong orientation towards customer service and results, is self-motivated, and fosters a collaborative team environment with a proactive approach ;
  • Strong sense of discretion, confidentiality, integrity, and transparency
