Description

  • You manage corporate liability claims, overseeing the entire process and guiding the progression of cases;
  • You are responsible for the comprehensive management of complex cases, including case initiation, claim analysis, verification of contract terms, and communication with all stakeholders, while ensuring optimal case follow-up;
  • You will lead out-of-court negotiations to secure adequate compensation for injured parties, while ensuring the organization meets its obligations at the lowest possible cost. You will prioritize amicable solutions over legal proceedings to facilitate swift and favorable settlements;
  • You coordinate the actions of various internal and external departments related to clients or injured parties (underwriting, accounting, prevention, etc.), or related to the type of case (multidisciplinary committees, medical institutions, etc.), to ensure collaborative and effective follow-up;
  • You practice active listening, thereby establishing a relationship of trust with the client and the injured parties;
  • You stay informed of developments in your area of expertise and provide support to external advisors on specific issues, thereby ensuring accurate expertise and quality service;
  • You participate in meetings with internal stakeholders (experts, inspectors, etc.) and external stakeholders (medical advisors, lawyers, victims, brokers, etc.) to exchange information and perspectives on cases;
  • You contribute to projects aimed at improving and optimizing management tools to ensure top-tier service.

Your profile

  • Holds a Master’s degree in Law;
  • Has at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Is fluent in French and has a good command of Dutch; proficiency in English and German is a plus;
  • Has in-depth knowledge of insurance related to civil liability;
  • Is fluent in both spoken and written communication, with a strong ability to synthesize information;
  • Is highly client-focused, capable of quickly identifying the expectations of those they interact with;
  • Seeks variety in professional assignments;
  • Possesses a strong analytical mind;
  • Stands out for their organizational skills and flexibility;
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation and persuasion skills;
