Description
- You are a key member of a team of six employees;
- You maintain direct contact with both insurance companies and clients;
- In collaboration with the Client Manager, you oversee audits and public tenders for insurance portfolios for various government agencies, such as cities and municipalities;
- You conduct audits of insurance policies (including fire, workers’ compensation, and liability insurance) for cities, municipalities, police districts, and public social welfare centers in Flanders;
- You analyze coverage, guarantees, premiums, and discounts, as well as the services offered;
- You prepare audit reports and formulate clear recommendations;
- You guide clients through the award procedure, including tendering methods, timelines, and, where relevant, pre-selection;
- You draft specifications and bid forms, taking into account the needs and expectations of the contracting authorities;
- You compare bidders’ quotes, prepare the comparative report, and review policies against the specifications;
- All these steps are carried out in close collaboration with the Client Manager and the Client Advisor. Planning and independence are of great importance here, and you play a crucial role within the team. Direct contact with clients and insurers is also part of your responsibilities;
- In addition, you will support the Client Manager in managing larger entities. In day-to-day client management, you will ensure optimal service delivery in close collaboration with the Client Manager.
Your profile
- Holds a degree in an economic or legal field, such as finance, insurance, business administration, or law;
- Has relevant work experience at a real estate agency or insurance company; experience in the public sector is considered a plus; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply;
- Has an excellent command of Dutch and is able to follow conversations in French;
- Is a true team player with an open mindset; demonstrates a willingness to learn and enjoys sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues;
- Possesses excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills and can easily gain the trust of conversation partners;
- Is highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Is flexible and handles stressful situations well;
- Has regular experience with computer programs such as Excel and Word.
