Amid rapid growth, our client is expanding its Production team and is seeking an Insurance Claims Manager. This position is ideal for entry-level professionals looking to launch or build their career in the insurance industry, offering opportunities for advancement into underwriting roles or positions that combine management and underwriting.- *Your Responsibilities:**
- Draft and issue insurance policies, endorsements, and contractual documents based on the information provided (applications, broker requests, templates, etc.);
- Review and proofread documents to ensure their accuracy and compliance with established standards;
- Forward complete files to the accounting department, strictly adhering to current internal procedures;
- Enter and track the status of files in the internal production system (quotes, accepted, declined, or pending files);
- Monitor pending files and follow up on current offers to ensure efficient management;
- Provide telephone support when underwriters are absent to maintain service continuity.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Has training or initial experience in the insurance industry or in a comparable administrative role;
- Has 3 to 5 years of experience, although one year of experience is acceptable for a dynamic, self-motivated, and quick-learning candidate;
- Demonstrates thoroughness, precision, and a strong focus on quality;
- Enjoys organized administrative work and meticulous file tracking;
- Has excellent command of French, and bilingualism in French and Dutch is a major asset;
- Has the ambition to progress in the medium term toward underwriting-related positions.
