Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the Transport & Leasing claims management team. You are not only a coach and motivator, but also a strategic thinker who takes processes to the next level. You ensure customer-focused service by making sure that claims are handled in a timely, accurate, efficient, and professional manner.Your responsibilities include:
- You coordinate the day-to-day operations within the team: assign tasks, set priorities, and closely monitor the progress of cases.
- You provide coaching and support to team members: motivate, guide, give feedback, and encourage development.
- You monitor the quality of service: ensure that everything meets high standards and that cases are managed correctly and proactively.
- You manage client relationships: serve as the point of contact for your own client portfolio and support the team with complex cases.
- You foster collaboration: promote open communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.
- You optimize processes: identify areas for improvement and translate strategic objectives into daily work practices.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds a bachelor’s degree or can demonstrate relevant managerial experience.
- Possesses in-depth technical expertise in the field of claims handling for transport insurance, including Fleet, BA, and CMR.
- Demonstrates flexibility and a solution-oriented approach in changing situations.
- Puts the customer first and is focused on meeting their needs.
- Strives for high quality and results in his or her work.
- Is proactive and takes the initiative to optimize processes.
- Works well with other team members and promotes mutual cooperation.
- Has strong organizational skills and monitors the progress of tasks.
- Possesses solid coaching abilities to guide and support others.
- Communicates effectively in Dutch, French, and English.
- Is familiar with IT tools such as MS Office and internal case management systems.
