Description
- You ensure the efficient and prompt issuance of insurance policies for European clients and brokers, providing knowledgeable, client-centered administrative support to local underwriting teams;
- You draft new and renewal insurance policies in alignment with underwriting guidelines using the technical policy system;
- You review and initiate amendments to policies and certificates as necessary;
- You analyze technical data and execute calculations related to transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions;
- You professionally and promptly address inquiries from brokers and clients;
- You meticulously maintain and organize policy documentation and correspondence within our e-filing system;
- You take calls and participate in meetings with brokers as necessary;
- You manage professional email correspondence to ensure clear communication;
- You attend and engage in internal training sessions and team meetings;
- You provide feedback and share ideas aimed at enhancing internal processes;
- You may also be assigned additional tasks, responsibilities, and activities that align with the nature of this position.
Your profile
- Possesses relevant professional experience as a policy technician, administrator, or in a comparable role;
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and has a strong understanding of policy coverage, limits, premium calculations, and pro-rata assessments related to the duration of risk;
- Can effectively convey policy information to clients and brokers through both verbal and written communication;
- Exhibits the ability to operate independently while also fostering effective collaboration with team members;
- Maintains a diligent and professional demeanor, coupled with a customer-focused mindset;
- Works efficiently to meet established deadlines without compromising quality;
- Capable of managing document formatting and organization using MS Word;
- Proficient in creating and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, including performing lookups, sorting functions, and utilizing pivot tables while ensuring data integrity;
- Language skills: Dutch fluency is a must both written and spoken, other languages: French and English are an added value;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- More than 2 years proven professional experience.
