Description
- You monitor advancements at the European and international level, pinpointing opportunities for consumers to establish strategic positions, initiatives, and significant collaborations;
- You emphasize digital policy, focusing on how it can foster consumer empowerment and drive innovation for the benefit of consumers;
- You engage with various aspects of consumer policy from both legal and political angles;
- You cultivate a network of important stakeholders from policy, business, and civil society, establishing impactful coalitions;
- You collaborate closely with colleagues in communication and enforcement to define, protect, and leverage strategic positions across diverse channels and formats;
- You work in tandem with B2B teams to inspire and develop transformative partnerships;
- You assist in the organization of consumer-oriented events;
- You support the preparation of representation initiatives and events.
Your profile
- Holds a Master’s degree in Law;
- Possesses 5 to 10 years of experience in European and international policy and advocacy;
- Exhibits outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in French and Dutch as a beneficial asset;
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of digital regulations and the ability to evaluate various aspects of consumer policy through a legal lens;
- A commercial background is considered a significant advantage;
- Is adept at analyzing and condensing complex information into clear summaries;
- Displays strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to work;
- Excels in networking and building coalitions effectively;
- Approaches challenges with a business-oriented and solution-focused mindset;
- Works well in team settings, easily collaborating with colleagues.
