Senior Legal Counsel

Description

• Provide first-level legal assistance to members, both verbally and in writing, regarding labor law;
• Actively participate in joint committees by engaging in negotiations, drafting collective bargaining agreements, coordinating with other organizations, and serving on various sector-specific bodies;
• Draft articles, memos, document templates, and collective bargaining agreements, while ensuring that the website is regularly updated. You will also be required to communicate with members in both Dutch and French;
• Organize and facilitate working groups and meetings, and draft the corresponding minutes.

Your profile

• Holds a master’s degree in law or has equivalent professional experience, with a strong specialization in labor law;
• Fluent in French and Dutch;
• Has a good understanding of or experience with joint committees and collective bargaining agreements;
• Has knowledge of tax law and/or public procurement;
• Demonstrates strong analytical, writing, and communication skills;
• Takes a practical approach to work, is self-reliant, and can collaborate effectively within a team;
• Holds a Class B driver’s license.
