Senior Legal Counsel

Description

• Provide first-line legal assistance to members, both verbally and in writing, regarding labor law;
• Actively participate in joint committees, engaging in negotiations, drafting collective bargaining agreements, coordinating with other organizations, and serving on various sectoral bodies;
• Draft articles, memos, document templates, and collective bargaining agreements, while ensuring the website is regularly updated. You will also be required to communicate with members in both Dutch and French;
• Organize and facilitate working groups and meetings, while drafting the corresponding minutes.

Your profile

• Holds a Master’s degree in law or has equivalent professional experience, with a strong focus on labor law;
• Fluent in French and Dutch;
• Has a good understanding of or experience with joint committees and collective bargaining agreements;
• Has knowledge of tax law and/or public procurement;
• Demonstrates strong analytical, writing, and communication skills;
• Has a practical approach to work, is self-reliant, and can collaborate effectively within a team;
• Holds a Class B driver’s license.
