Description

  • You receive new claims files and update the information so that you can make well-informed decisions;
  • You assess the damage and assign a technical reserve to the files;
  • You are responsible for handling incoming mail and following up on schedules, taking all necessary actions to ensure efficient claims management;
  • You make decisions regarding whether or not to compensate claimants and arrange any refunds;
  • You monitor litigation proceedings in which the BGWF is involved and correspond with attorneys to best protect the BGWF’s interests;
  • You expand and update your theoretical knowledge.

Your profile

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law;
  • Is fluent in both French and Dutch;
  • Has knowledge of legal principles and, preferably, some initial work experience in the insurance sector;
  • Is a lawyer with no experience but strong motivation, or holds a Bachelor’s degree in insurance with at least one year of experience in managing claims;
  • Has relevant experience in handling auto damage claims.

Offer

  • Monthly salary indication: € 3501 - € 4000
  • A permanent, open-ended employment contract;
  • A full-time position with a full workweek.
