Description
- *Job description: Senior Legal Advisor & Governance**
- **Legal advice & business support:**
- You provide clear and practical legal advice.
- You analyze, draft, and negotiate various contractual documents.
- You assist teams in launching new offers.
- You will participate in regulatory monitoring to ensure compliance.
- **Litigation & Claims Management:**
- You will manage pre-litigation disputes that do not involve credit.
- You will handle complex complaints and support the dedicated claims management department.
- **Governance & Oversight:**
- You are the main contact for governance issues.
- Working closely with the General Secretary, you organize the calendar of meetings, prepare agendas, and provide secretarial support for executive committee and board meetings.
- You also liaise with the regulator on prudential supervision matters.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds a Master's degree in law from a Belgian university.
- Has a perfect command of French, Dutch, and English.
- Has at least 6 years of professional experience in the banking, consulting, or legal sectors.
- Has in-depth knowledge of banking and financial law at both the Belgian and European levels.
- Is able to transform complex issues into operational solutions.
- Demonstrates rigor, organization, and a keen sense of quality in their work.
- Communicates clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing.
- Manages priorities independently while enjoying working in a team.
