Description
- You monitor national and international developments, leading to changes in laws and regulations;
- You translate such laws and regulations into procedures and instructions;
- You monitor compliance with the procedures and instructions;
- You advise the branch network, central services and the local compliance functions;
- You raise staff awareness through training and communication.
Your profile
- Holds a Master's degree, ideally in fields such as Law or Economics;
- Possesses substantial experience in compliance advisory roles focused on financial markets, gained either in a financial institution or a consulting firm;
- Has a minimum of 2-5 years of experience dedicated to ensuring the organization adheres to all legal and ethical standards;
- Displays robust knowledge of pertinent regulations including the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCAR), the European Crowdfunding Service Providers Regulation (ECSPR), and the Benchmark Regulation;
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of investor protection mechanisms, financial market operations, and various financial instruments;
- Demonstrates the ability to provide clear, practical, and well-structured advice within a complex regulatory framework;
- Commands excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal;
- Shows strong analytical and critical thinking skills, effective decision-making capabilities, a eagerness to learn, proficient communication skills, group facilitation abilities, a high degree of independence, and a focus on process and results-driven approaches.
