Description
- You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer while leading a compact in-house team of three, promoting structure, accountability, and ongoing improvement;
- You will adopt a hands-on and pragmatic approach, demonstrating willingness to actively assist the team and intervene as necessary to ensure seamless daily operations and successful project execution;
- You will define, execute, and consistently enhance processes related to the management of buildings and assets;
- You will oversee the complete lifecycle management of the client’s real estate portfolio, which includes both office spaces and residential units;
- You will manage rental activities, including leases, charges, follow-up, and coordination of property viewings;
- You will coordinate renovation and enhancement initiatives from the tendering phase through to execution and delivery, focusing on energy efficiency, HVAC systems, elevators, and general infrastructure improvements;
- You will ensure adherence to urban planning regulations, environmental permits, and compliance with all regulatory requirements;
- You will act as the primary liaison with public authorities concerning property-related taxes, permits, and inspections;
- You will coordinate and oversee the work of external service providers, such as cleaning, maintenance, catering, security, and technical services;
- You will ensure a safe, functional, and pleasant working environment for employees;
- You will oversee building access management, security systems, fire safety protocols, and insurance policies;
- You will serve as a backup for the internal prevention advisor (basic level), maintaining compliance with health and safety standards;
- You will monitor service quality, contracts, key performance indicators (KPIs), and associated costs;
- You will lead, mentor, and organize a team of three collaborators;
- You will set priorities, clarify individual roles, and ensure smooth daily operations;
- You will prepare, manage, and monitor budgets related to properties, facilities, and assets;
- You will provide clear reporting and insights to the CFO to assist in decision-making;
- You will oversee the management of the company car fleet and related processes;
- You will identify opportunities to optimize, automate, and standardize workflows related to asset management.
Your profile
- Brings over 7 years of experience in property, asset, facilities, or building management;
- Possesses a deep knowledge of building upkeep, safety standards, and service management, emphasizing practical experience over theoretical knowledge;
- Has demonstrated capability in overseeing external vendors and managing service agreements effectively;
- Exhibits strong organizational and analytical abilities, coupled with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
- Is comfortable leading a small team and collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders;
- Is fluent in French and Dutch, with a solid proficiency in English;
- Is skilled in Microsoft Office applications and has a strong inclination towards process enhancement and reporting;
- Holds qualifications as a basic-level prevention advisor.
