Description
- You lead and provide guidance in crafting proposals aimed at securing profitable mandates, which includes responding to RFPs, preparing for panel presentations, creating capability statements, and submitting public tenders. You oversee the entire pitch process, from initial scoping and kickoff meetings to defining the best strategies, writing, coordinating, and collecting client feedback after submissions;
- You maintain and refresh the organization’s business development databases and CRM tools, assisting lawyers in utilizing these systems effectively;
- You coordinate and assist in preparing submissions for legal directories and industry awards, showcasing the organization's expertise while collaborating with lawyers;
- You support attorneys in nurturing and enhancing vital client relationships through customized client management programs, emphasizing cross-selling initiatives and client retention strategies;
- You participate in strategic projects, including cross-selling initiatives, sector-focused campaigns, and the development of client teams;
- You perform market, client, and sector research and analysis, identifying potential business opportunities and delivering actionable insights to internal teams;
- You collaborate closely with the Marketing, Communications and Events team to ensure a cohesive and uniform approach to all business development activities.
Your profile
- Possesses over 5 years of demonstrated experience in business development, marketing, or project management within a B2B service setting; prior experience in the legal or professional services sector is highly advantageous;
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business, economics, or a related field;
- Exhibits exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities in English, Dutch, and French; skilled in influencing, persuading, and engaging senior stakeholders within the organization;
- Displays a high level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is beneficial;
- Demonstrates strong skills in project management, capable of handling multiple complex initiatives concurrently and consistently delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines;
- Possesses a strategic and analytical mindset, alongside a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach; adept at generating clear, actionable recommendations;
- Has a proactive and service-oriented attitude, showing a strong sense of ownership and responsibility;
- Is inquisitive and commercially aware, capable of recognizing opportunities and translating insights into actionable business development strategies;
- Exhibits adaptability and agility, demonstrating the ability to adjust to changing priorities and stakeholder demands;
- Functions effectively as a collaborative team member, able to work harmoniously with lawyers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams;
- Is a creative thinker who applies sound judgement and common sense in problem-solving.

- Monthly salary indication: € 4001 - € 6000
