Description
- You will manage complex claims cases with significant financial implications, drawing on your knowledge of various areas of insurance and applicable laws.
- You will analyze the cases assigned to you with regard to coverage and liability.
- You will calculate the potential costs and reserves associated with the claim and take the initiative to keep these as accurate as possible throughout the entire duration of the case.
- You communicate effectively with all parties involved, including medical advisors, attorneys, inspectors, clients, victims, and brokers.
- You actively invest in your own professional development in the areas of insurance and legal knowledge.
- You provide technical advice and training to colleagues from various departments and serve as a backup legal point of contact.
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in law.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of workplace accidents, including knowledge of liability law.
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and French.
- You are a true team player and contribute to effective collaboration.
- You are dynamic, flexible, and solution-oriented; you possess critical and analytical thinking skills, are assertive, can handle stress, and have strong communication skills.
- You are open to change and new trends, and you adapt to the evolving expectations of policyholders and intermediaries.
- You have a strong understanding of numbers, which is crucial for handling the financial aspects of complex cases.
