Description
• You manage complex claims relating to motor, home, and family liability;• You analyze claims and related documents (expert reports, criminal records, etc.);
• You determine responsibilities and/or the application of contractual guarantees based on legal, regulatory, jurisprudential, and contractual rules;
• You arrange compensation and, if necessary, appeal against those responsible;
• In the event of a dispute, you validate the company's position and seek an amicable settlement. If necessary, you determine the legal strategy together with the lawyer;
• You handle the files in collaboration with lawyers, experts, inspectors, etc.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Has a degree in law, preferably with a focus on insurance, civil law, or private law;
- Has extensive experience in processing and managing complex claims files, either as a claims manager, lawyer, or attorney;
- Has a high level of proficiency in Dutch and French;
- Has strong communication skills, both on the phone and in writing;
- Is a true team player, but can also work independently;
- Has an assertive attitude, works accurately, and is always customer-focused.
