Description

As Legal Counsel, you will ensure the Group's governance, regulatory compliance and legal consistency. You will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with management bodies, subsidiaries, as well as internal and external stakeholders, both in Belgium and internationally.
  • *Your responsibilities include:**
  • Organization and follow-up of board meetings and general meetings.
  • Supervision of legal, financial and prudential obligations.
  • Legal and regulatory monitoring (national and international).
  • Harmonization of legal practices within the Group.
  • Support for merger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
  • Direct support for the CFO and close collaboration with operational departments.

Your profile

The ideal candidate:
  • University degree in law
  • Significant professional experience in a similar position, preferably in a corporate, financial or regulated environment.
  • Excellent understanding of governance and compliance mechanisms.
  • Knowledge and skills in M&A, legal structuring and due diligence are a major asset.
  • Demonstrate diplomatic skills, rigor, proactivity and the ability to evolve in a demanding, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Fluency in three languages: French, Dutch and English.
