Description
- You analyze the effects of Belgian and European legislation, as well as court decisions and legal doctrines, on commercial and contract law, consumer relations, commercial practices, competition law, market practices legislation, real estate, security, and other areas related to commerce and services, and you communicate the results.
- You provide advice and information to member companies and represent their interests at regional, federal, and European level;
- You are in charge of the Safety Commission and the Real Estate & Expansion Commission, where you work with industry experts to prepare sectoral positions and coordinate thematic working groups;
- You defend these positions with policy makers;
- You collaborate with the lobbying team on a wide range of legal issues in the above-mentioned areas;
- You develop an extensive network among the organization's members and partners.
Your profile
- Master's degree in law;
- Experience as a consultant, lawyer, or corporate lawyer.
- Fluent in Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English;
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into understandable terms and provide concrete and practical advice;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and keen business acumen;
- Dynamic and able to persuade and inspire others;
- Shows initiative and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Excellent ability to work in a team and genuine team spirit;
- Flexible and eager to learn.
