Data and reporting risk officer
Become a key contributor to the transformation of risk data and reporting within a major international financial institution. As a Data & Reporting Risk Officer, you will support the modernization of risk systems, enhance reporting quality, and collaborate with multiple departments across Europe. This role offers strong exposure to regulatory frameworks, technology-driven processes, and cross-functional risk initiatives in a multicultural environment.
Description
- Support the transformation and modernization of risk data management and reporting processes.
- Implement new regulatory reporting standards and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
- Resolve data quality and reconciliation issues, particularly related to Anacredit, and contribute to the alignment of statistical, financial, and risk reporting.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to harmonize data structures and improve reporting governance.
- Promote integrated risk data architecture and support automation initiatives across the department.
- Enhance risk data aggregation and reporting in line with BCBS 239 principles.
- Develop tools and dashboards (VBA, Python, SQL) to optimize workflow efficiency and strengthen data controls.
- Support the oversight of outsourcing arrangements by maintaining registers, coordinating with branches, and monitoring risks.
- Contribute to internal, data-driven projects to improve risk monitoring and reporting automation.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, or Statistics.
- 2-5 years of experience in data processing, transformation, or reporting.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is an asset.
- Strong skills in programming tools such as VBA, Python, SQL, or Access.
- Comfortable working across departments and driving change collaboratively.
- Team-oriented, autonomous, and adaptable within a dynamic international environment.
