Description

  • Ensure comprehensive handling of claims files;
  • Guarantee compensation in accordance with contractual provisions and applicable regulations;
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by managing files professionally and accurately, thanks to in-depth knowledge of insurance products;
  • Open and carefully review files;
  • Verify coverage and contract terms and conditions;
  • Estimate and assess damages, whether material or physical;
  • Collaborate with experts, clients, lawyers, and partners;
  • Follow up regularly and in detail with the client to keep them informed of developments in the case;
  • Update and monitor files in management systems;
  • Participate in departmental meetings to report on activities;
  • Calculate compensation amounts due;
  • Propose solutions and monitor settlements with policyholders;
  • Manage disputes and appeals if necessary;
  • Apply internal rules and procedures;
  • Comply with applicable regulations.

Your profile

  • Has a degree at least equivalent to a two-year college degree in insurance, law, management, or business;
  • Has between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in claims management or in the insurance sector;
  • Is fluent in French, English, and Dutch, and is proficient in office software (Office);
  • Has a good understanding of insurance contracts and coverage;
  • Is proficient in specific claims management software;
  • Has strong skills in damage analysis and assessment;
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a keen sense of customer service;
  • Has negotiation and mediation skills;
  • Is organized and works with precision;
  • Is a good team player and values collaboration;
  • Adopts a solution-oriented approach;
  • Is able to work independently and be proactive;
  • Is flexible and adapts easily to change;
