Description
- You will analyze and assess risks within the BRAND & PROPERTY for companies.
- You provide advice and make decisions on the underwriting of these risks.
- In collaboration with stakeholders, you ensure monitoring of the profitability of the existing portfolio.
- You develop, where necessary, technical proposals to adjust the portfolio and negotiate them with brokers.
- You work proactively with the Underwriting team to achieve a uniform underwriting policy.
- You formulate suggestions for improving the quality of underwriting.
- You take the initiative to further strengthen the position in the enterprise market.
- You efficiently build and maintain commercial relationships with brokers and clients.
- You constantly stay abreast of the latest developments in the sector and invest in your personal growth.
- You support fellow underwriters in complex files and maintain dynamic communication with technical inspectors for optimal results.
Your profile
We are looking for an ideal candidate for the role of Underwriter Property Undertakings who recognizes the following profile:- You have extensive knowledge of the laws and regulations related to Property insurance within the enterprise segment, with a focus on special risks.
- You can look back on a first working experience as an underwriter within this specific segment.
- You are familiar with the world of enterprise insurance and related brokerage.
- You have a customer-oriented and results-driven attitude, you think analytically and are creative, with a strong power of persuasion. You take proactive initiative.
- Command of Dutch is essential, while knowledge of French offers considerable added value.
- You function smoothly within a team, are eager to learn and are open to change.
- You have a level of thinking equivalent to a master's or bachelor's degree, preferably supplemented by technical training or relevant experience.
