Manager in Training – Workers’ Compensation Insurance

Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise in occupational accident insurance with commercial and strategic impact. You will work closely with brokers and play an active role in strengthening the market position. At the same time, you will act as the right-hand person to the current manager, who will be retiring in the near future. This will give you an in-depth understanding of how the department works and prepare you step by step for a future management position.

• Analyzing and assessing new applications within occupational accident insurance for medium-sized companies
• Preparing quotations, negotiating terms and conditions, and concluding new contracts
• Maintaining close relationships with brokers and supporting them in commercial matters
• Monitoring the quality of service: rates, terms and conditions, speed, and customer focus
• Contributing to sustainable growth through new deals, conventions, and innovative product terms and conditions
• Working closely with the current manager as their right-hand person, with a view to a gradual transition to a managerial role

Your profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in insurance, law, economics, or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of occupational accident insurance and relevant legislation is a requirement
• Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused in collaboration with brokers
• Leadership potential: you have the ambition and ability to manage a team in the long term
• The team is bilingual, so excellent knowledge of Dutch and French is an absolute must.

• Monthly salary indication: € 1501 - € 7000
