Manager in Training – Workers’ Compensation Insurance

Description

Within this role you will have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise in work accident insurance with a commercial and strategic impact. You will work closely with brokers and play an active role in strengthening the market position. At the same time, you will act as the right hand of the current manager, who will retire in some time. This will give you an in-depth insight into the operation of the department and prepare you step by step for a future managerial position.

• Analyzing and assessing new applications within work accident cases for medium-sized companies
• Drafting quotes, negotiating terms and concluding new contracts
• Maintain close relationships with brokers and support them in commercial cases
• Monitor service quality: rates, conditions, speed and customer focus
• Contribute to sustainable growth through new deals, conventions and innovative product conditions
• Intensive collaboration with the current manager as right hand, with a view to a gradual transition to a managerial role

Your profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in insurance, law, economics or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of work accident insurance and relevant legislation is a requirement
• Strong analytical skills and commercial attitude
• Proactive, solution-oriented and customer-oriented in cooperation with brokers
• Leadership potential: you have the ambition and capabilities to manage a team over time
• The team is bilingual, so an excellent knowledge of Dutch and French are an absolute must.

• Monthly salary indication: € 1501 - € 7000
