Description
- You analyze and evaluate risks: you translate financial data, operational risks, and preventive measures into well-considered underwriting decisions.
- You develop offers and contract terms: you set appropriate prices and clauses within our organization’s guidelines and authority.
- You manage your own portfolio: you closely monitor renewals, adjustments, and portfolio cleanups.
- You collaborate with brokers and clients: you negotiate, advise, and build long-term relationships.
- You identify trends: you contribute to product development and innovation, with a focus on cyber risks and emerging liabilities.
- You collaborate with experts: you involve specialists in claims, legal affairs, and risk management on complex cases or new product ideas.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in insurance, economics, law, or a related field.
- Has between 3 and 8 years of relevant work experience in underwriting, brokerage, or a similar role with a focus on risk management.
- Has in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following areas: general liability, professional liability, cyber risks, or directors’ and officers’ liability.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Is a customer-focused communication expert capable of combining commercial objectives with sound risk management.
- Is fluent in Dutch and has a good command of French; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Has a digital mindset and works efficiently with Excel, data tools, and modern underwriting platforms.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for applying AI and data analysis to drive innovation and help shape our clients’ future.
