Description
- You analyze and evaluate risks: you translate financial data, operational risks and preventive measures into well-considered underwriting decisions.
- You develop offers and contract terms: you set correct prices and clauses, within the guidelines and competences of our organization.
- You manage your own portfolio: you keep a close eye on renewals, modifications and remediations.
- You work with brokers and clients: you negotiate, advise and build long-term relationships.
- You spot trends: you contribute to product development and innovation, focusing on cyber risks and emerging liabilities.
- You collaborate with experts: you involve specialists from claims, legal and risk management on complex cases or new product ideas.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Possesses a bachelor's or master's degree in insurance, economics, law or similar field.
- Has between 3 and 8 years of relevant work experience in underwriting, brokerage or a similar position with a focus on risk management.
- Has in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following areas: corporate liability, professional liability, cyber risk or directors' liability.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Is a client-focused communications expert capable of combining commercial objectives with sound risk management.
- Is fluent in Dutch and has a good knowledge of French; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Has a digital mindset and works efficiently with Excel, data tools and contemporary underwriting platforms.
- Shows enthusiasm for applying AI and data analytics to drive innovation and help shape our client's future.
