Description
- You are responsible for the preparation, composition and follow-up of various legal files such as declarations, claims, contracts and general terms and conditions.
- You analyze and recognize risks and optimize documents where necessary.
- You focus on advising the management and various departments on legal issues.
- You keep a finger on the pulse of developments in legislation and case law and discuss with the management what measures are necessary.
- You maintain contact with lawyers and legal advisors.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Has a completed master's degree in law (Belgian law).
- Has at least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Has knowledge of maritime law, environmental law, contract law and IT law, which is a plus.
- Has a strong interest in the logistics sector.
- Has an excellent command of the Dutch language and a good command of English.
- Is independent and focused on achieving results.
- Has a keen attention to detail and thinks pragmatically.
- Is proactive and takes initiative.
- Has creativity and a critical, analytical mindset.
