Underwriter Engineering

Our client is an authorized underwriter offering customized insurance solutions in BOAR, including fire, auto, technical insurance, pleasure boating, BA & accident insurance. Our client operates in a business-to-business environment and distributes their products exclusively through a network of independent, professional insurance brokers. For their Engineering Department, they are looking for an Underwriter who will primarily handle technical risks.

Description

  • You are the point of contact for brokers and build a professional relationship with them
  • You analyze the risks, prepare tailor-made quotes and provide policy documents. You are jointly responsible for the further development and management of our engineering portfolio in all construction site risks, machinery breakdown, Electronics,...
  • You report directly to the head of the engineering department.

Your profile

  • You preferably have a technical education
  • You have relevant experience in insurance
  • You are result-oriented, eager to learn and above all a team player who can also work independently

  • You are administratively strong and work quickly and accurately
  • You are flexible and someone who can settle in quickly
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French
  • You can work well with existing computer systems
