Description
- As a fire underwriter, you will be responsible, together with your fellow underwriters, for the correct and timely preparation of quotations, policies, addenda, and related documents.
- You will contribute to the further development of the portfolio and will help underwrite new business. You will perform analyses in line with the acceptance rules and objectively assess the risks.
- You will help build a high-quality partnership and relationship of trust with our brokers.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's degree (preferably in insurance or business management) or relevant experience with a broker or insurer;
- Initial experience in the insurance sector is an asset;
- You are customer-oriented and commercially minded and have good communication skills, complemented by analytical and digital skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of English;
- You are willing to learn and evolve in your role within the company;
- You can work both independently and as part of a team;
- You can negotiate and make decisions independently;
- You are driven, proactive, and like to take initiative.
