Description
- You keep a close eye on developments concerning (supplementary) pensions, both at the Belgian and European level;
- You work with the member insurers to shape the sector policy in this area;
- You manage various projects from start to finish: from organizing working groups to promoting consensus between insurance companies and drafting advice for the sector;
- You act as an industry inquiry point for a variety of life and pension insurance questions;
- You represent our client during consultations with members or external partners, such as the regulator;
- You are open to contributing to projects of interest to the trade association.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Possesses a university degree, preferably in an economically related field (such as actuarial, mathematical or commercial engineering);
- Has experience in the field of life insurance or supplementary pensions;
- Is not daunted by the complexity and underwriting methods involved;
- Is operationally proficient in three languages (Dutch, French and English);
- Communicates efficiently, both orally and in writing, and possesses excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Has an analytical and critical mindset, and is both dynamic and eager to learn;
- Is skilled in establishing contacts and acts diplomatically;
- Is result and goal-oriented, shows initiative and enjoys working independently;
- Is a team player who functions well in groups.
