Description
- You keep a close eye on developments relating to (supplementary) pensions, both at Belgian and European level;
- You work with member insurers to shape sector policy in this area;
- You manage various projects from start to finish: from organizing working groups to promoting consensus among insurance companies and drafting recommendations for the sector;
- You act as a source of information for the sector on a wide range of questions about life and pension insurance;
- You will represent our client during consultations with members or external partners, such as the regulator;
- You will be open to contributing to projects that are important to the professional association.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Has a university degree, preferably in an economics-related field (such as actuarial science, mathematics, or commercial engineering);
- Has experience in the life insurance or supplementary pension sector;
- Is not deterred by the complexity and insurance methods involved;
- Is operationally fluent in three languages (Dutch, French, and English);
- Communicates efficiently, both verbally and in writing, and has excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Has an analytical and critical mindset, and is both dynamic and eager to learn;
- Is skilled at establishing contacts and acts diplomatically;
- Is results- and goal-oriented, shows initiative, and enjoys working independently;
- Is a team player who functions well in a group setting.
