Description
- Manage and address inquiries from customers and both internal and external contacts to deliver a focused and efficient claims service in line with our client's reserving philosophy.
- Oversee claims cases while conducting thorough investigations and accurately inputting relevant data into systems to ensure transparency and an adequate audit trail.
- Interpret and collect information effectively to facilitate proactive claims management.
- Address inquiries from internal customers and third parties regarding claims and deliver timely status updates.
- Collect and analyze data using established tools and methods, and provide recommendations to assist the department in resolving claims promptly.
- Provide outstanding service in day-to-day claims activities.
- Adhere to and work within the established governance structure for claims, including claims manuals and quality assurance evaluations.
- Contribute to the development and assessment of success against specific customer claims handling protocols, ensuring the understanding and fulfillment of customer needs and expectations.
- Monitor the performance of the Claims team to enhance staff development and retention within your area of responsibility.
- Support the Head of Commercial Services in various tasks and initiatives.
- Foster strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the global claims community.
- Carry out administrative and organizational responsibilities for the team as needed.
Your profile
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a claims position or a comparable role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Fluency in German and English, with proficiency in additional languages viewed as advantageous.
- Demonstrated management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities through previous achievements in claims or a similar field.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, as evidenced by experience collaborating with brokers and clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of delivering accurate work while adhering to deadlines.
- Proficient in computer usage, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Positive approach toward interactions with both internal and external clients.
