Description
- Analyzing the quality of proposed risks provided by brokers or internal commercial teams;
- Initiating inspection assignments in order to have sufficient and correct information for the evaluation of files;
- Preparing quotes including pricing, conditions and coverage;
- Conducting negotiations with brokers on the acceptance of quotes, working closely with the commercial teams;
- Preparing detailed policy proposals after quote approval so that they can be contracted;
- Monitoring portfolio profitability at product and branch levels;
- Active support in improving and developing technical insurance products;
- Participating in launching new products or optimizing existing guarantees;
- Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues to strengthen the team;
- Managing specialized portfolios, including motor insurance for buses, coaches and trucks;
- Management of specific agricultural insurance, such as crop hail damage;
- Combination of underwriting and field work (inspections, broker visits and limited prospecting of new brokers);
- Actively maintain contact with an established core of quality brokers, where customization is paramount.
Your profile
- Ideally 5-15 years of experience in the insurance industry;
- Experience in property insurance is important;
- Dutch-speaking, with a good knowledge of French or English as an added advantage;
- Customer-oriented, analytical, independent and communicative;
- Willing to travel to brokers region of Antwerp and Limburg and occasionally to the Brussels office.

- Monthly salary indication: € 1501 - € 6000
