Description
- You offer expert advice and support to medium and large organizations on both local and international VAT concerns.
- You deliver ongoing VAT compliance services while primarily consulting on VAT matters for Public Interest Entities (PIE) and Large Entities.
- You occasionally assist clients during VAT inspections and provide guidance on cross-border VAT situations.
- You play an active role in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects where VAT considerations are integral to the process.
- You serve as a reliable intermediary between our clients and other team members, fostering collaboration within our expanding VAT team.
Your profile
- You possess a master’s degree in law or economics, complemented by a post-graduate qualification in tax law.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, and proficiency in French is an added advantage.
- You bring 3 to 5 years of experience from a tax consultancy firm or working within the Belgian VAT authorities.
- You demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and strong sales skills, enabling you to foster relationships with both internal teams and clients.
- You are highly driven, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, and actively seeking opportunities to surpass expectations and take ownership of projects.
- You approach challenges with an open and innovative mindset, and you are eager to lead your cross-functional client service team.
- You have a strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and familiarity with PowerBI will be considered a plus.
