Description

  • Define and implement data quality policies and frameworks;
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to determine data quality requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. BCBS 239);
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data quality policies;
  • Carry out regular data quality checks and produce reports for management.
  • Monitoring, analysis and remediation;
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor data quality;
  • Analyze anomalies and inconsistencies in information systems;
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams to propose corrective and preventive measures;
  • Manage data quality incidents and coordinate remediation plans;
  • Document data quality processes and actions;
  • Tools and technologies;
  • Use and configure data quality management tools (e.g. Ab Initio, Qlik Sense);
  • Automate quality checks using Ab Initio or SQL;
  • Stay abreast of new tools and technologies that could improve data quality;
  • Participate in the integration of new data quality management tools;
  • Training and coaching;
  • Raise awareness and train teams in the importance of data quality;
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.

Your profile

  • In-depth expertise in SQL and in the use of data quality management tools such as Ab Initio;
  • Develops automation scripts efficiently, with a good command of languages such as Python;
  • Has solid experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server;
  • Has a good understanding of ETL concepts and is familiar with data architectures such as Data Warehouses and Data Lakes;
  • Has knowledge of banking data standards, particularly in relation to BCBS 239;
  • Has already used data visualization tools, such as QlikSense, to present analyses;
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve data quality issues;
  • Demonstrates excellent synthesis skills and is able to communicate ideas clearly to non-technical interlocutors;
  • Has experience in data governance, as well as in the creation of quality processes;
  • Is seasoned in project management, particularly those related to transformation;
  • Displays a rigorous and methodical analytical mind;
  • Is able to collaborate effectively with IT and operational teams on a cross-functional basis;
  • Excellent communication skills in French, Dutch and English;
  • Holds a master's degree in data, management or a similar field;
  • Has over 5 years' experience as a Data Quality Analyst or Data Governance Analyst, ideally in a banking or financial environment.
